Our High-Performance ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 Clinic aims to provide a platform for sailors who consistently rank in the top 20% of their National fleet or aspire to become National Team sailors.

The 2026 OptiOrange Regatta will take place at the Reial Club Nàutic de València, from February 23rd (arrival day) to March 2nd, 2026 (departure day). This event holds special significance for SailCoach as Valencia is our Spanish home SailBase. Our coaches have in-depth local knowledge of the venue, ensuring that our participants benefit from their expertise.

Join SailCoach’s OptiOrange ILCA High-Performance Clinic, created to give young ILCA sailors valuable training time during the OptiOrange Regatta. With many families attending OptiOrange for younger siblings, this clinic provides an ideal training option for older sailors at the same time. Based at our Valencia SailBase and led by experienced SailCoach coaches, the clinic focuses on quality time on the water, helping sailors improve speed, technique, and race skills in a professional training environment.

While originally designed with Irish TY students in mind, the program is also open to motivated young sailors from other countries who are eager to train alongside their peers. We typically welcome sailors aged 15 to 16, with a focus on ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 racing.

The 2026 ILCA 4 European Championships will be held in Murcia, Spain, from 11th to 18th of April 2026. We offer two options, one including the Spanish Europa Cup and a standalone European Championship coaching packages. The full Coaching Tour will run from 3rd April (arrival day) to 19th April (departure day)

While originally designed with Irish TY students in mind, the program is also open to motivated young sailors from other countries who are eager to train alongside their peers. We typically welcome sailors aged 15 to 16, with a focus on ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 racing.

The 2026 ILCA Senior European Championship will be held in the town of Kastela, Croatia, from Friday, 15th to the 22nd of May 2026. We at SailCoach have been offering “Coaching Tours” for over 30 years. As a result, we have the experience that brings the confidence you can rely on for this important regatta.

The 2026 ILCA 6 Youth Europeans will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from Saturday, the 4th of July to Saturday, the 19th of July 2026. We offer two options, one including the Greek Europa Cup and a standalone European Championship coaching packages.

The Pre ILCA 4 Worlds High Performance Camp is designed to give sailors, who are active in their National Youth Sailing circuits or preparing for the 2026 ILCA 6 World Championships, a strong platform to sharpen their skills and gain valuable experience.

SailCoach has created the December TY Performance BaseCamp for students who would like to take part in an extended training period, which will finish with an international regatta, the Malta Europa Cup, in mind. We extend a warm welcome to sailors from other countries who wish to join this group of 15 and 16-year-olds, focusing on ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 sailing. Our TY Performance BaseCamp is based at the Seabank Hotel, Mellieha Bay, Malta. Designed for talented club sailors aged 15 and over who have been active in their national youth sailing circuits or Optimists sailors looking to transition to the ILCA Class.
