Welcome to the third edition of the Malta Europa Cup Coaching Tour.

Join us from December 13th (arrival day) to December 21st (departure day) 2025 for what promises to be an exciting event, supported by our world-class coaching, which will provide you with an excellent learning experience. The tour begins with four days of intensive pre-regatta training in the stunning Mellieha Bay. Our experienced coaches will provide comprehensive guidance to help you sharpen your skills and prepare for the upcoming Europa Cup challenge. Throughout the coaching tour, you will be staying at the four-star Seabank Hotel and Resort on a half-board basis.

During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the second edition of the EurILCA Malta Europa Cup while your Optimist family and friends can compete in Euromed, Malta’s top dinghy regatta, all hosted by the Malta Young Sailors Club, as it promises to be an exciting regatta experience.

Programme:

13th of December 2025

Arrive at into Malta International Airport (MLA) and be met by SailCoach’s friendly coaching staff member, and they will take you to the Seabank Hotel in Mellieha Bay, the venue for this year’s Europa Cup.

14th to 17th of December 2025

Before the event, we will have four familiarisation and coaching days at the regatta venue, as it’s SailCoach’s home waters, our experienced coaches will aim to help you become familiar with the local conditions and gain valuable knowledge about the area. Our coaches will assist you in developing a race strategic “Game Plan” and offer video analysis to improve both your boat handling and speed, as adequate preparation is crucial for a successful regatta. Additionally, these pre-regatta days will allow you to get to know our coaches, which will give you a significant advantage once the racing begins.

18th to 21st of December 2025

Racing starts in the Malta Europa Cup, in what promises to be a tough event, ahead lies four days of tough racing. However, don’t worry, SailCoach’s experienced coaching staff will be there with you giving you all the support you need on and off the water to help you reach your goals.

22nd of December 2025

At the end of the event, a SailCoach staff member will take you to Malta Airport (MLA) for your journey back home, hopefully with a couple of trophies to celebrate your achievements. One thing is certain: you will have gained valuable experience from this regatta and created lifelong memories and new friends that will stay with you forever.
